Weight reduction is a little more complex than an either-or condition such as smoking because you will continue to eat — but often in new and different ways. In some cases, individuals will need to re-educate themselves off the Standard American Diet (SAD) to make progress. So, it can be more than just portion size. Sometimes re-learning to purchase the right ingredients and foods to reach your desired weight is necessary.

I can work with your chosen diet plan and/or in conjunction with your dietitian or nutritionist’s advice including concentrating on certain items such as reducing sugars, salt, and fats. Your journey begins with a consultation where we discuss your goals and the methods you wish to employ to make this quality-of-life change.
