About Paul DiFranco
Most people come in wanting to change something specific — quit smoking, reduce stress, improve confidence, or perform better under pressure. Paul’s work is focused on helping you make those changes in a clear, purposeful, and practical way — so they last.
Hypnotherapy helps align the conscious and subconscious patterns so change becomes more natural, consistent, and lasting — without relying on willpower alone.

Paul DiFranco, M.Ht.
Certified Master Hypnotherapist · Practicing since 2012
I was a long-time client before I became a practitioner. That changes how I work.
— Paul DiFranco, M.Ht.
A Practical, Results-Oriented Approach
Paul’s approach is practical and direct — focused on what actually moves the needle for you. Most clients work through a progressive series of sessions designed to reduce unwanted habits, reinforce new patterns, and build momentum from one session to the next.
Rather than focusing on theory, sessions are designed to produce real-world changes clients can notice in their day-to-day lives.
Most of my clients work through a progressive series of sessions — and I design each one around where you actually are, not a one-size-fits-all script.

Experience as Both Client and Practitioner
Paul’s path into this work began in 1989 — successfully using hypnosis for exam preparation, air travel, public speaking, and stage performance. Those years gave him a deep appreciation for what suggestion-based hypnotherapy could do.
But it was a single exploratory session with his mentor, Kelly Brown, that changed everything. That single session showed him what hypnotherapy was truly capable of — and he knew he wanted to learn how to do it. Kelly began teaching him, and he has been working with clients professionally since 2012.
Paul’s approach reflects a blend of experiences not often found in one practitioner. In addition to more than a decade of hypnotherapy practice, his background includes university teaching, career coaching, consulting, business ownership, corporate training, yoga and meditation instruction, and training across multiple hypnotherapy disciplines and traditions, including transpersonal approaches and depth-oriented work.
He has also spent years as a performer — public speaking, community theater, radio, and live music — and knows firsthand what it takes to perform under pressure. Having worked with students, professionals, managers, business owners, and people from many different walks of life, he brings a practical, flexible approach that meets clients where they are and tailors the process to their individual goals and style.
I don’t do this work because I have to. I do it because there’s nothing quite like watching someone move past something they thought was permanent.
